Allied Agronomy Announcements

Be on the lookout for Aster Leafhoppers. They are rare to ND, but they have been found in increasing numbers this year due to the mild winter.  The leafhoppers are small (1/8 of an inch), wedge-shaped and green to yellow with three pairs of spots on its face.  The aster leafhoppers transmit yellows disease in wheat causing early infected plants to not produce kernels due to stunting.
